Day-Rome
You'll be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel in Rome. After checking in and meeting with your guide for some orientation about the city, you head out to Via Cavour in the evening. This neighborhood has plenty of restaurants, so whether you're in the mood for traditional Italian food, Indian, Chinese, or something else, you'll find options nearby for dinner.

Day-Rome
Your guide takes you on a three-hour tour that mixes walking and a bus ride through Imperial Rome. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the outside of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. By around 11:00 a.m., you arrive at Vatican City where you can visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel if you want (there's an additional cost). Later, you transfer to Trastevere for dinner and return to your hotel by about 8:30 p.m.

Day-Rome - Florence
You travel north from Rome, watching the countryside change along the way. Once in Florence, head to Piazzale Michelangelo for views of the city from above. Then walk down toward the center, grab lunch, and take a guided tour with a local who shows you Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. The afternoon is yours to walk around freely. Dinner is available at various restaurants throughout the area with different cuisines to choose from.
